Esperance Wreck Dive Expedition

Community-Driven Adventure. Strategic Brand Building.

After identifying a growing appetite among the Perth Scuba community for local adventure, I initiated and led a signature dive trip to Esperance, home to the Sanko Harvest, the largest wreck dive in the Southern Hemisphere. My goal was to position Perth Scuba as the go-to destination for unforgettable dive experiences in Western Australia.

Over three months, I managed every aspect of the trip, from forging a partnership with the local dive shop in Esperance to negotiating accommodation, pricing, and ensuring diving safety standards were met. The experience needed to feel seamless, premium, and community-focused.

What made this campaign unique was the marketing approach. Without paid advertising, I built momentum through genuine conversations and community word of mouth. Once the logistics were locked in, I designed a poster and a single social media post, which was enough to fill the trip within nine days.

The success of the Esperance trip not only reinforced Perth Scuba’s reputation for delivering quality dive experiences but also demonstrated how community insight and thoughtful branding can shape meaningful, sell-out events.

Store Posters and Social Media Post

Turning a Dive Trip into a Marketing Moment

To amplify the success of the Esperance trip and strengthen Perth Scuba’s brand as a leader in local dive adventures, I produced three engaging recap videos for social media. These videos were crafted to highlight the excitement, scenic beauty, and community spirit of the experience — not only celebrating those who attended but also creating anticipation for future trips.

The content served a dual purpose: showcasing Perth Scuba's commitment to exceptional dive experiences and strategically building brand visibility through authentic, high-impact storytelling.
